We will dispatch your order the following business day for all in-stock products. For "click and collect" your order will be available normally in 2 working days from ordering. For items that are to be delivered please allow 2-5 working days. Working days being measured as Monday to Friday. All orders are sent via Australia Post unless marked as in store pickup only.
We recommend the use of an attended address for security as Australia Post may leave parcels unattended if no one is present. If the package is returned to us for any reason you will be responsible for an additional postal fee to re-send the order.Orders are sent at the recipients’ risk
Liability and title of the goods passes to the recipient when the parcel is handed to Australia Post. Ballarat Toyworld has no control or responsibility after this point.
In Store Pickup: -"Click and Collect" We offer in store pickup as a delivery option. This option is chosen at the check out stage of your purchase. We will notify you by email when your order will be available for collection from 903 Howitt Street Wendouree, but normally within 2 working days. No delivery fee is charged for in store pick up.
Large and Bulky Items: Some large and or bulky items we only offer in store pickup as the delivery option. If you choose an item that is in store pickup you will be notified when you add the item to the cart. If one items in your cart is marked as in store pickup then your entire order will be marked for instore pickup and no delivery fee will be charged.
Back Orders (Sales orders)
If a portion of your order is out of stock, we may send out the in-stock portion and put the remainder on a Sales Order. If the Sales Order portion is due within a few days we may hold the in-stock portion and send them together. When a delay of more than a few days is expected the in stock portion will be sent immediately and the Sales Order will be sent with no added postage cost as soon as it is available.
Payment Before Delivery
Please note that orders will only be processed after clear payment has been received. We will not despatch any orders without full payment under any circumstances.
Our Refund Policy
Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 you may seek a refund if goods:
- - are or become faulty through no fault of your own
- - are not fit for a stated purpose or a purpose you made known to our sales staff
- - don’t match our description or sample
- - have defects that were not obvious or we did not bring to your attention
However, the goods must be returned within a reasonable period and you will be required to provide proof of purchase. You may also be asked to demonstrate that the problem with the goods was not your fault.Importantly if the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect Ballarat Toyworld reserves the right not to offer an exchange,refund or repair.
If you prefer an alternative to a refund, we can arrange for goods to be exchanged or repaired or a store credit issued to allow you to purchase an item at another time.
Please choose carefully as you are not entitled to a refund if you simply change your mind. But if you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind Ballarat Toyworld will offer you an exchange or online credit provided that:
- - you send back the item within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase.
- - the item is in resaleable condition, it is unworn,unopen,unused and is in its original packaging.
- - goods are shipped in a sturdy box to avoid being damaged in transit.
Freight costs for change of mind returns,to send the item back to us by Post/Courier and/or to resend a new item(s) back to the customer will be the responsibilty of the customer.
